A young woman reportedly attacked her boyfriend by cutting his head with a knife when he made contact with her recently surgically enhanced nose. The incident occurred during a heated argument, leading to the arrest of the teenager by the Conburi police in eastern Thailand on charges of assault.
The 18-year-old girl allegedly became aggressive towards her partner, also 18, after he inadvertently touched her nose that had been operated on, causing her pain. The situation escalated into a physical confrontation when the woman claimed that there was a sudden “loud pop” from her nose upon his touch.
Concerned that her surgery might have been compromised, she allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and struck him on the head. Emergency services responded to the woman’s call for help at their residence, finding the man with a deep four-inch cut on his scalp.
Video footage shows emergency responders attending to the bleeding man, while the woman was seen trying to stop the bleeding. Both individuals were taken to Laem Chabang hospital, with the woman showing strong emotions and holding onto her boyfriend tightly during the journey.
Authorities mentioned that the woman is known for frequently altering her appearance and confessed to the police that she acted impulsively when she thought her nose job had been ruined, leading to her facial disfigurement fears.
The woman explained that during the altercation, she felt her boyfriend touch her nose, resulting in her believing it had been damaged. In a fit of anger and pain, she admitted to slashing him with a knife but later apologized after calming down.
Despite the severity of the injury, the man decided not to press charges against his girlfriend, and law enforcement could not take action as the victim declined to file a complaint.
