Among these emails is one from Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell in 2011, where Trump is referred to as the “dog that hasn’t barked” and mentioned spending time at Epstein’s residence. The correspondence also touches on Prince Andrew denying any involvement in sex abuse allegations and seeking Epstein’s support.
The newly disclosed emails reveal various interactions involving Trump and Epstein. In one instance, Epstein acknowledged Trump’s awareness of certain activities, prompting ongoing investigations into the Epstein files and the Trump administration’s handling of the matter. Trump, in response, criticized the Democrats for allegedly using the Epstein case to divert attention from other issues.
Despite the email content, Trump has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s illicit activities and emphasized their strained relationship before Epstein’s death. Notably, an unnamed victim mentioned in the emails was identified as Virginia Giuffre, who affirmed Trump’s innocence regarding any wrongdoing. Additional exchanges between Epstein and Michael Wolff regarding Trump’s interviews and other topics were also disclosed.
Another significant revelation from the emails is Epstein confirming the authenticity of a controversial photograph involving Andrew and Giuffre. While Andrew has refuted all accusations against him, the emails also implicate individuals like Peter Mandelson advising Epstein against media interviews. Mandelson expressed regret over his past association with Epstein and the repercussions it had on the victims.
