The App Store maintained a strong performance, attracting over 850 million weekly users globally. During the holiday season, the store experienced a record number of visitors, and customer spending on digital goods reached new heights.
Apple Podcasts had a successful year, achieving record numbers in listeners, plays, and subscriptions. Additionally, Apple expanded its Fitness+ app to more regions and added over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.
In terms of features, Apple enhanced its Share Item Location in Find My, now available with 27 additional airlines. This feature allows for secure sharing of location data, reducing lost luggage instances significantly.
Apple Maps introduced its Detailed City Experience in new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering 3D landmark views, including a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.
