I have few indulgences in life, but if I were to offer blood, I might be rejected for being 80% Pepsi Max. I have a strong affection for the beverage, and there was a time when my partner and I consumed at least two 2L bottles a day.

In my younger days, battling acne and flushed cheeks led me to drink a minimum of two liters of water daily. As my skin cleared and I shed pounds rapidly, my fascination with water and its advantages grew. With advancing age and the accumulated effects of insomnia (oh, how I miss effortlessly functioning after just four hours of sleep), a small caffeine boost became necessary to maintain productivity at work.

However, I detest coffee and loathe tea. Not being a tea enthusiast while hailing from Yorkshire elicits the reaction you might anticipate.

I used to enjoy Diet Coke but, craving a sweeter option, I switched to Pepsi Max, which, in my opinion, ranks as the most superior form of sugar-free cola globally.

It’s flavorful, invigorating, and provides the energy boost I require daily – what’s not to adore?

Subsequently, I began consuming a can of Pepsi Max every lunch break to combat the post-meal afternoon slump.

Water swiftly lost its appeal.
