Virgin Media customers who already subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will receive Sky Atlantic for free starting next month. This update applies to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box users and will be available on screens starting April 1. To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform, with on-demand content also accessible through Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed the company’s commitment to providing seamless entertainment at great value with the addition of Sky Atlantic. He highlighted the channel’s captivating dramas and stories from the UK and US, offering over a million Virgin TV customers the opportunity to enjoy Sky Atlantic without additional charges.
In related news, Sky has announced the launch of a new Ultimate TV plan featuring premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, set for release next month. Priced at £24, this plan will be available on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.
According to Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, the Ultimate TV plan represents a “new era” for Sky and NOW, unifying Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription.
