Sky has unveiled its new Glass Air TV, offering a more affordable option for viewers seeking premium content. The internet-connected television, initially announced in February, is now available for purchase on Sky’s website.
Priced at a starting rate of £6 per month with a £20 upfront fee, the Sky Glass Air features a 4K display, Dolby Audio, and comprehensive voice controls through its remote. Customers can choose from three colors, including White and Green, as well as opt for larger screen sizes at additional costs.
One standout feature of the Sky Glass Air is its dish-free operation, as all content is delivered via the internet. The TV also boasts personalized recommendations, access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, and a convenient Playlists feature for storing content for later viewing.
While the base price covers the TV itself, additional content packages start from £15 per month, bringing the total cost to around £21 for over one hundred channels and Netflix. For viewers interested in premium channels like Sports and Cinema, the total cost can exceed £50 when bundled with the Air TV.
While Mirror Online has reviewed the premium Gen 2 Glass TV positively, they are yet to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the Air model. A detailed review is expected to be available soon.
