“Sky Adds Free Streaming TV Channels for Viewers”

Sky has introduced new channels for viewers without any additional cost. These Free Ad-supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels offer a variety of content including sports, documentaries, and art. The update is available on devices like Sky Glass Gen 2, Sky Glass Air, Sky Stream boxes, and older Sky Q devices through the Xumo Play app.

Users do not need to manually update or retune their devices, as the update will be applied automatically. The new channels cover a range of interests, from sports to animal lovers and art enthusiasts.

For sports fans, there are three new channels dedicated to showcasing sports content such as Premier League archives, darts, boxing, and sports documentaries. Additionally, there are channels like Pick Monkey Rescue for animal lovers and Emergency 24/7 for those interested in emergency-related content. Art aficionados can enjoy the Sky Artist of The Year channel featuring programs like Portrait Artist of the Year and Landscape Artist of the Year.

Viewers can easily access these channels by using the channel number or through voice search on their remote. Apart from Sky, Virgin Media has also launched two new free channels, British Screen Classics and wedotv movies, offering a range of movies and TV shows for subscribers of Virgin TV 360, Stream, or V6 boxes.

Overall, viewers have more options for free content with these new channel additions from Sky and Virgin Media.
