“Lush Snow Fairy Shampoo Review: Glittery Surprise!”

Date:

I have been faithfully using Lush hair care products for approximately four years, sticking to my tried-and-tested favorites. The combination of Big shampoo or Swell with either Veganese or American Cream conditioner has been my go-to, meticulously selected over time for its efficacy in enhancing the look of my hair.

When I discovered that Lush had introduced a Snow Fairy shampoo on TikTok, my interest was piqued. I was curious about its fragrance, potential glitteriness, and effects on my hair, even wondering if it could turn my hair pink.

Snow Fairy is a beloved scent from Lush, and I eagerly anticipate its seasonal release to get my hands on new products. Recently, the Super Fairy collection, combining Super Milk and Snow Fairy, was launched, and I am completely enamored with it.

Upon trying the shampoo, I found that it indeed shares a similar scent with the spray, albeit slightly less sweet. However, what surprised me was its high pigmentation, resembling hair dye.

The product label cautioned against leaving it on dry hair for too long as it could potentially dye the hair. This aspect intrigued me, especially as someone new to hair dyeing.

There was a TikTok user, Aimee (@love_lushie), who reported that the Snow Fairy shampoo turned her bleached hair pink after leaving it on for an hour, deviating from the regular shampoo usage. Results may vary for individuals.

The product website advises caution due to its intentional pigmentation, necessitating a thorough rinse post-use. Despite this, I found the experience to be enjoyable.

Upon application, the bright pink, glittery shampoo seemed to have a staining effect, sparking initial concerns. However, after rinsing it out, my hair felt exceptionally clean and my shower exuded a delightful fragrance.

Despite hoping for a hint of color enhancement, I accepted that my unbleached hair was unlikely to show any significant change. Nevertheless, the shampoo seemed to brighten my hair, giving it a more radiant appearance.

Overall, I was impressed by the Snow Fairy shampoo. It left my hair clean without any greasiness, offering a fresh scent. As I continue to assess its long-term effects on my hair, the shampoo’s performance has been positive so far.

For those interested, a 100ml bottle of the Snow Fairy shampoo is priced at just £9 on the Lush website. Don’t hesitate to try it out, and if you happen to achieve a pink hair transformation, feel free to share your experience!
