After exchanging vows, a couple’s post-wedding bliss turned tragic when their honeymoon in a national park in Montana, USA, ended in the husband’s death. Jordan Linn Graham and Cody Johnson, married for just eight days, went on a hike where Johnson went missing. Graham initially claimed he disappeared after receiving a distressing phone call and later found his body during a hike in Glacier Park.
However, suspicions arose when Graham confessed to lying about the events leading to Johnson’s death. She admitted to pushing him off a cliff edge during an argument about their marriage. Despite initially claiming it was an accident, Graham eventually pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. She was sentenced to 30 years in prison by US District Judge Donald Molloy, who expressed doubts about the truthfulness of her statements.
Throughout the case, friends and family members raised concerns about Graham’s behavior and the circumstances surrounding Johnson’s death. Graham’s admission of guilt led to the dropping of more severe charges, and she is expected to serve her full sentence without the possibility of parole.
