Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime, ranked fourth globally, will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers to be held in Quebec City. Alongside him, the team will include Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, positioned 12th in the tournament rankings, is set to face off against France, ranked sixth, in a best-of-five match at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a score of 3-2, while France secured their spot in the second round by defeating Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
