“Charlie Kirk Warned of Rising ‘Assassination Culture’ Among Left”

Date:

Months prior to his passing, Charlie Kirk alerted his supporters about a concerning “assassination culture” emerging within the left-wing. Speaking on a platform on April 7, Kirk, who tragically fell victim to a sniper attack during an event at Utah University, referenced a study revealing that a significant portion of respondents believed the murder of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk could be justified.

The study indicated that 38% of participants felt the murder of President Trump would be “somewhat justified,” with an additional 31% expressing similar sentiments towards Elon Musk. Notably, among left-leaning respondents, these figures rose to 55% for Trump and 48% for Musk.

In a post on a social media platform, Kirk highlighted the findings of the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) report, stating, “Assassination culture is spreading on the left. Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump.”

The conservative activist criticized what he saw as a trend towards violence within the left, attributing it to a progression from “left-wing protest culture” and condemning the tolerance of “violence and mayhem.” He also called out local prosecutors and school officials, accusing them of complicity in fostering violence.

Kirk’s untimely death, as a controversial activist and close ally of former President Trump, occurred in front of a large audience during an event at Utah Valley University. He is survived by his wife and two children, who are reportedly struggling to cope with his loss.

Political influencer Jack Posobiec, a contributor to Kirk’s organization, praised Kirk’s wife, Erika, for her strength in the face of tragedy. He emphasized her and Kirk’s deep Christian faith, highlighting their unwavering commitment to their beliefs even behind the scenes.

Posobiec remarked on Erika’s resilience, noting that her faith provided her with a strength that he believed could only come from a higher power. He described her as a “prayer warrior,” underscoring the couple’s steadfast dedication to their faith in every aspect of their lives.
