A smartwatch priced significantly lower than Apple’s top-selling model and a supermarket brand of ketchup have been recognized among the top products of 2025.
Consumer organization Which? conducted extensive testing on over 2,000 products to determine their quality and value. The results have been unveiled, highlighting the 50 standout products of the year. Some were deemed the best in their category, while others were commended for their innovation or surprisingly affordable pricing.
Leading the pack was the cost-effective Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, priced at under £63 in certain outlets. Despite being a fraction of the cost of Apple’s entry-level option, it was lauded for its comparable quality. Which? praised the smartwatch for its exercise tracking features, GPS capability, and awarded it a perfect five-star rating for user-friendliness and screen performance.
In third place on the list is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, earning acclaim for its rich tomato flavor with a balanced sweetness that doesn’t come off as artificial. It matched the taste score of the popular Heinz brand in testing but is approximately 70% cheaper per 100g.
Sitting just above Asda’s £1.39 ketchup in second place is Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive product in the top 50, priced at over £30,000. Which? described the SUV as cost-effective to operate and purchase compared to its competitors, while maintaining a high-quality and impressive design.
Another standout product among the top 50 is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, securing the 10th spot. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, this offering from the discount supermarket outperformed the well-known Fairy Original, scoring 73% against Fairy’s 72%.
The rest of the top 50 encompasses a diverse range of products, from household appliances and cutting-edge technology to everyday essentials like bedding, strollers, and power tools.
According to Harry Rose, the editor of Which? Magazine, the standout products of 2025 are those that enhance the quality of life at home. Whether it’s an affordable TV for movie nights, a stylish turntable for music enthusiasts, or a pizza oven for gourmet home cooking, these products not only perform well but also cater to the increasing demand for quality, convenience, and enjoyment in everyday life.
