At 7:26 a.m. on Sunday morning, a brand-new space telescope is set to launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida, atop a Falcon Heavy rocket, aiming to uncover fresh insights about our cosmos.

Named after NASA’s inaugural chief astronomer, the highly anticipated Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, often hailed as the “mother of the Hubble Space Telescope,” will venture into orbit at a distance of 1.5 million kilometers, stationed at a gravitational equilibrium point known as L2.
