Sky is currently offering a rare discount on Apple’s MacBook products, with prices slashed to their lowest ever. Through a new deal, you can now get the latest MacBook Air M4 for just £20 per month with a minimal £2 upfront fee. This offer allows you to spread the cost over a 48-month contract, totaling £962, which is cheaper than buying directly from Apple at £999.
In addition to the standard model, Sky also provides options with larger memory and screen sizes. The 512GB version is available for £24 per month (previously £26) with a £12 upfront cost. Similarly, the MacBook Air 15-inch M4 with 256GB is now priced at £24 per month (down from £26) with a £12 upfront fee.
While these deals offer a convenient payment plan, other retailers like Apple, John Lewis, and Amazon are selling the MacBook Air at lower upfront prices. Apple offers a £100 discount for students, John Lewis sells the device for £899, and Amazon stocks the M4 Air for £859.97, although the full amount must be paid upfront.
The MacBook Air M4 features impressive upgrades, including the M4 processor for enhanced performance, 16GB of RAM, extended battery life up to 18 hours, a high-resolution screen, quality sound, and a Force Touch trackpad. Additional features such as MagSafe charging, a fingerprint scanner for security, and Apple Intelligence are included. The device is also available in a new Sky Blue color option, joining Midnight, Silver, and Starlight.
While the MacBook Air M4 has received positive reviews for its performance and features, criticisms include limited upgrade options post-purchase, all ports located on one side, and potential cost increases for additional memory and storage upgrades. However, the Sky deal makes owning a MacBook more accessible for monthly budgets, especially for those content with the base 256GB model.
