Users can customize the display to function as a clock, music player, or platform for displaying handy sticky notes. Xiaomi also mentions that users can personalize the display with images like pets or people turned into smart AI wallpapers.
The secondary screen offers various functionalities such as serving as a virtual pet, a flight tracker, a diary, and a convenient viewfinder for capturing better selfies using the high-quality dual-lens cameras.
Xiaomi describes the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max as introducing a revolutionary dual-screen design that combines sleek aesthetics with intuitive and intelligent features. The Dynamic Back Display enhances user experience and productivity with customizable watch faces, AI wallpapers, virtual pets, dynamic information notifications, sticky notes, and more.
In addition to the dual display, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series boasts other impressive features, including a large battery that supports rapid charging. The models in the Xiaomi 17 Pro series offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, which is twice as fast as the iPhone’s charging capabilities.
Moreover, the Xiaomi 17 Pro is among the first smartphones to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, known for its improved performance and energy efficiency.
While there is no confirmed release date for the UK market yet, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is currently available for purchase in China, with expectations of expanding to more countries in the near future.
