“Virgin Media Launches Free British Screen Classics & wedotv Movies”

Virgin Media is rolling out two new channels, British Screen Classics and wedotv movies, for free to its customers. The channels will offer 24/7 content and are part of Virgin’s expanding lineup of free ad-supported services. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the added value and choice these channels bring to subscribers. British Screen Classics showcases iconic films from ITV STUDIOS and STUDIO CANAL, spanning various genres like comedy, horror, war, adventure, drama, and romance. On the other hand, wedotv movies features over 500 contemporary films with genre-themed programming such as Romance Mondays and Sci-fi Wednesdays. Virgin TV users will receive the channel upgrades automatically without the need for manual intervention.
