University of Kansas student killed in hit-and-run tragedy

Elsa McGrain, a University of Kansas student from Omaha, Nebraska, was struck by a vehicle and remained undiscovered for nearly 10 hours. Her body was found early the next morning, and investigators are seeking information about an all-white pickup truck seen in the area. Although no charges have been filed, a man was arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter. Elsa was a dedicated member of Chi Omega, known for her kindness and faith.
