The baby was rushed to La Fe Hospital in Valencia, where she unfortunately passed away. The mother was taken to Denia Hospital, where she underwent an amputation and treatment for a blood clot.
The mother is currently in the intensive care unit at Denia Hospital, and the nationalities of those involved have not been disclosed. Local authorities are investigating the accident, which is suspected to be caused by a malfunctioning handbrake on the vehicle that hit the victims.
