Two Australian nurses tragically lost their lives after being struck by a car while attempting to aid an injured kangaroo. Aseera Suwal and Sarala Khadka, both 30 years old, were hit by a vehicle on a Melbourne freeway in Australia as they were on their way to celebrate Aseera’s birthday. The women, who worked together at the Alfred Hospital and considered each other as partners in crime, had stopped to help the injured kangaroo when the accident occurred.
Local police reports indicated that the women had pulled over around 7:30 pm after spotting the injured animal and were hit by a passing vehicle in the dark.
