“Texas Woman Joins Scottish Tribe, Rejects Return Home”

Date:

A young woman who disappeared from Texas has resurfaced in Scotland as a member of a group called the “Kingdom of Kubala.” Kaura Taylor, previously a waitress and gas station worker, now goes by the name Asnat within the tribe. She, along with a woman named Queen Nandi and her husband ‘King Atehene,’ are living in a forest in Jedburgh, Scotland, aiming to reclaim land they believe was taken from their ancestors in the Highlands centuries ago.

Taylor, now 21, has expressed contentment with her new life and rejects calls to return home, citing alignment with the spiritual beliefs and customs of the tribe. She explained her transition from her former life in Dallas to her current role in the camp, highlighting her dedication to serving the “king and queen.”

Despite facing opposition from locals and eviction notices, the tribe, led by the self-proclaimed “King,” remains steadfast in their beliefs and commitment to their lifestyle. They emphasize the importance of submission and adherence to their laws, which they prioritize over local regulations.

The “King” further outlined the principles of Kubala, emphasizing the hierarchy, peace, and harmony within the tribe. He stressed the significance of spiritual practices, dietary restrictions, and the observance of the Sabbath day. The group remains resolute in their convictions, unwavering in their pursuit of their chosen path.
