“Stereophonics Embrace Affectionate Backstage Shift”

Date:

Stereophonics, despite their old-school vibe, have embraced a more affectionate approach backstage, transitioning from fist bumps to hugs among band members. Drummer Jamie Morrison shared how this change has evolved over the past year or two, emphasizing the newfound camaraderie.

The band, comprised of Kelly Jones, Richard Jones, Adam Zindani, and Morrison, wowed a massive crowd of 60,000 at Radio 2 In The Park with hits like Dakota. Their recent album, “Make ‘Em Laugh, Make ‘Em Cry, Make ‘Em Wait,” quickly soared to the top of the charts, reflecting their continued musical success.

Guitarist Adam Zindani highlighted the personal nature of the album’s songs, noting their ability to deeply connect with listeners on a fundamental level. Comparing the album’s success to a snowball effect, Zindani described the journey to the number one spot as a steadily growing momentum.

Looking ahead to a forthcoming arena tour, bassist Richard Jones expressed the band’s unwavering passion for performing live, citing it as the ultimate joy in sharing music with enthusiastic audiences. Acknowledging their devoted fan base, Jones praised their fans for creating an electric atmosphere at each show.

The band also emphasized their commitment to supporting emerging artists, exemplified by their recent collaboration with Blossoms and Jake Bugg during a special performance at the Royal Sandringham Estate. This effort to provide a platform for rising talent reflects Stereophonics’ belief in nurturing the next generation of musicians.

With a string of number one albums and a massive arena tour on the horizon, Stereophonics show no signs of slowing down, maintaining their status as enduring icons in the music industry.
