“Sky One Returns with New Lineup & Ultimate TV Plan”

Date:

Sky recently announced modifications to its TV channel lineup, with changes set to take effect imminently. Sky Showcase and Sky Max will halt transmissions on February 24, leaving viewers with a surprise return of a beloved channel. Sky One will relaunch tomorrow, showcasing a lineup of comedy and entertainment programs, including new offerings like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. The channel will also feature popular shows such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted.

Moreover, Sky One will become the home of Saturday Night Live UK later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s reinvigoration, emphasizing the focus on delivering a unique and vibrant viewing experience for subscribers. Sky One will be available on channel 106 beginning February 24.

In addition to the channel relaunch, Sky is introducing a new plan called Ultimate TV, priced at £24 per month. This package will grant access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Subscribers can also enjoy over 130 premium channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime. Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide, eliminating the need for separate Disney+ access.

The Ultimate TV plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads starting in March, HBO Max Basic with Ads launching on March 26th, and Hayu with a selection of top shows available from July. Additionally, subscribers will have access to a wide array of Sky channels, making this plan a comprehensive entertainment package for viewers.
