Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone model, the iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, this smartphone features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, durable construction, and an impressive single-lens camera—coming in £200 cheaper than the flagship iPhone.
While the iPhone 17e stands out, Samsung has introduced its new budget-friendly devices, the A57 and A37, starting at £399. These models boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 17e’s 60Hz refresh rate for smoother browsing, emailing, and gaming experiences.
The Galaxy phones from Samsung also include large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and a P68 water and dust resistance rating. Moreover, the A37 and A57 offer advanced AI features like Google’s Circle to Search and enhanced photo editing tools such as Object Eraser and Best Face.
Samsung has enhanced the Voice Transcription feature on these devices, enabling quick transcription and translation of call recordings, simplifying the process of reviewing important information from meetings or conversations. The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G promise extended support with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G offers color options including Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
