Paul, aged 28, gained fame on YouTube before transitioning to boxing in 2020, winning 12 fights. Notably, he has defeated boxing legends Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in different weight classes and also bested former UFC star Nate Diaz in a boxing match.
Despite his accomplishments, not everyone has been impressed by Paul’s performances, including Morgan, who previously voiced his disapproval. However, with talks circulating about a potential fight between Paul and Anthony Joshua, Morgan has revised his stance.
In a recent social media post, Morgan clarified his criticism of Paul, highlighting that his concern was primarily about Paul facing retired athletes rather than current top-ranked boxers.
