“Nessa of Gavin & Stacey Fame Sells Marital Home”

Date:

Ruth Jones, known for her role as Nessa in the popular BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, has decided to sell her lavish marital home for £1,150,000 after ending her 25-year marriage with TV executive David Peet. The couple’s separation was announced earlier this year, prompting Ruth to put their property on the market.

The impressive five-bedroom semi-detached house located in Penylan, Cardiff, was purchased by Ruth and David in 2001 for £325,000. They are now expected to make a substantial profit of £825,000 from the sale. The couple also owned a holiday home in Scotland and a well-known restaurant called Peet’s in Lochinver.

While Ruth has been residing in London post-separation, David has relocated to Canada where he is now in a new relationship with Jayne Charity Cook. The couple has been legally separated for 18 months and remain on amicable terms, with Ruth being a stepmother to David’s three children from a previous marriage.

Their elegant three-story home boasts original fireplaces, tiling, and wooden floors, overlooking Roath Park recreation fields. Ruth and David had established their production company, Tidy Productions, in Cardiff, where they created Gavin & Stacey.

Ruth is now back in action, collaborating with her Gavin & Stacey co-star James Corden. The duo is set to work on a new comedy drama series for AppleTV+, with filming scheduled to commence next year. Fans can anticipate a fresh ten-part show from the talented pair.

For further comments on the matter, inquiries have been made to Ruth’s representative by Mirror.
