Osbourne, who had a massive global following, also endeared himself to Formula 1 enthusiasts many years ago during one of Brundle’s pre-race grid walks. These walks involve the broadcaster interacting with prominent personalities before a Grand Prix event.
One standout moment occurred when Osbourne was a VIP guest at the 2003 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Despite numerous reporters vying for his attention, Brundle, then with ITV, managed to secure an interview with the rocker, although the exchange was abruptly cut short due to unexpected swearing.
The incident, where Osbourne humorously mentioned his dogs causing mischief at home, resurfaced on social media following his recent demise. Brundle, at the start of his grid walk before the rain-drenched Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps, took a moment to remember Osbourne and express his condolences.
Acknowledging Osbourne’s tendency for colorful language, Brundle reflected on the incident and shared his fondness for the late musician.
