Lewis Hamilton is working on developing a television show concept and a couple of animated films through his production company, Dawn Apollo Films. The seven-time world champion played a key role in bringing the successful F1 movie to the big screen.
Hamilton’s interest in creative projects beyond racing has been widely recognized. The 40-year-old, known for his involvement in music production, has now ventured into cinema, with the F1 film marking his significant debut in the industry.
The F1 movie was a massive hit, grossing £479 million ($629 million) worldwide and becoming the highest-earning sports film in history, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2.
In an interview with The Ferrari Magazine, Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with the project, emphasizing his active role from inception to completion. He collaborated closely with the film’s director, Joe Kosinski, and played a pivotal part in the production process.
Following the success of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films remains active in the film industry, with the British driver already planning upcoming productions.
Hamilton shared his enthusiasm for storytelling and his passion for creating inspirational content, especially during challenging times. He mentioned working on a television show idea and a couple of animated movie concepts, focusing on quality rather than quantity in line with acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino’s approach.
