Hulk Hogan, the WWE icon who passed away in July, has reportedly excluded his estranged daughter Brooke from his will, as per court documents obtained by Us Weekly. The estate, valued at nearly $5 million, did not name Brooke as a beneficiary, a decision she made voluntarily.
The will underwent four amendments, with Brooke expressing her removal from the will in 2023 out of concern for potential financial disputes following her father’s passing. Notably, the estate included assets such as $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, $200,000 in cryptocurrency, and estimated $4 million in the right to publicity, while real estate holdings were not disclosed in the filings.
Nick Hogan, Hulk’s son, is the sole inheritor of the estate. There is speculation that the undisclosed $11 million real estate could be under a trust’s control.
Hulk Hogan, who died at 71 due to a heart attack, was reportedly not on good terms with Brooke leading up to his passing. Besides the assets she could have inherited, there is potential for additional value from a medical malpractice lawsuit, which Hogan’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, is exploring concerning a neck surgery linked to his demise.
Nick Hogan has taken legal action regarding his father’s will and assets, including a lawsuit against Todd Clem, known as Bubba The Love Sponge, to halt the release of a documentary. The film allegedly centers on a 2012 scandal involving a leaked sex tape of Hulk and Clem’s ex-wife. Despite legal battles, Todd was permitted to release the documentary with specific restrictions after a court ruling.
Brooke confirmed that her father did not hold Todd accountable for the tape leak, recounting his belief back in 2012. She expressed sadness over the strained relationship and the complexities that hindered reconciliation.
