“Gabby Logan’s Podcast Overshadows Son’s Rugby Training”

Date:

Gabby Logan shared personal details about her intimate life during a podcast, unwittingly providing an amusing background soundtrack for her son’s workout sessions at the gym, where his teammates teased him. Reuben Logan, a Scotland Under-20s rugby player now signed with Sale Sharks, found himself lifting weights while his mother, the new Match of the Day presenter, openly discussed her sex life with his dad, Kenny.

Following his father’s footsteps, Kenny, a former Scotland and Wasps player, battled prostate cancer in 2022, underwent successful treatment, and faced potential erectile dysfunction afterward. This experience sparked open conversations about intimacy within the family.

The podcast featuring the candid discussion on the Logans’ sex life was widely publicized, including on Gabby’s podcast “The Mid Point,” much to the amusement of Reuben’s rugby colleagues who looped it during their training sessions. Recalling the situation, Reuben expressed his embarrassment, stating his discomfort with the situation and the need for consideration of his rugby environment.

Kenny recounted his recovery journey, highlighting the fluctuations in his sexual health post-surgery. Reuben, taken aback by his father’s health scare at a relatively young age, felt motivated to excel in rugby to make his father proud.

Having recently switched teams from Northampton to Sale, Reuben aims to progress further in his rugby career after debuting in the Premiership for Northampton.
