Police authorities are on the lookout for a prisoner who managed to escape from Milner Ridge Correctional Centre. The escapee, identified as Justin Paul, was last spotted entering a wooded area donning a grey T-shirt and only one shoe. The incident occurred at 9 p.m. on Wednesday in Lac du Bonnet, located northeast of Winnipeg.
Despite immediate responses by law enforcement, including the deployment of police dog units, drones, and setting up roadblocks, the fugitive, Paul, remains at large. Described as six feet tall, weighing 227 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes, he was observed heading northeast from the correctional facility.
Authorities urge local residents to report any suspicious activities and refrain from offering rides to hitchhikers.
