A finalist from the television show “Celebrity Traitors” shocked viewers by sharing a startling experience of being kissed by a murderer on a bus. Joe Marler, a former England rugby player, recounted the disturbing incident where a stranger, later revealed to be a fugitive wanted for killing his wife, unexpectedly kissed him during a bus journey to Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Describing the bizarre encounter on the Happy Hour podcast, Joe recalled how a man resembling actor Oliver Reed confronted him and his friends for misbehaving on the bus when he was around 12 or 13 years old. Despite exchanging heated words, the situation escalated when the man grabbed Joe and planted a kiss on his lips, leaving him bewildered.
The unexpected turn of events led to the bus driver intervening and ejecting the man from the bus after reviewing the onboard camera footage. Joe reported the incident to the authorities, only to discover weeks later that the perpetrator was a wanted criminal evading capture for his heinous crime in Basildon.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Joe expressed disbelief at the killer’s audacity to engage in such behavior while on the run. Despite correctly identifying the three “Traitors” on the show, including the ultimate winner Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, and Cat Burns, Joe failed to sway his fellow participants and was eliminated in the final round.
