A tragic incident occurred in Birmingham on Friday night, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old woman who was stabbed in an unprovoked attack on Smallbrook Queensway just before 9 pm. Despite being rushed to the hospital with a severe neck injury, she succumbed to her wounds.
Djeison Rafael, 21, has been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing. He is currently in custody awaiting his appearance at Birmingham Magistrates Court. The police have indicated that the charges against him may be amended following the victim’s passing.
