Ex-couple Sam Thompson and Samie Elishi had a reunion at the National Television Awards held last night. The two former reality TV stars were spotted engaging in a friendly conversation in the smoking area outside the O2 Arena during the awards ceremony.
Both Sam and Samie attended the event, which was broadcasted on ITV. Sam, aged 33, covered the red carpet with his friend Pete Wicks, while Samie, 25, was among the former Love Island contestants present, as the show was nominated for the Reality Competition award.
Despite reportedly parting ways over the summer, Sam and Samie came together again at the special event. Pictures captured by the Daily Mail show the former Made in Chelsea cast member and the ex-Islander standing side by side outside the London venue, appearing to be in good spirits alongside another individual.
According to reports, the pair, who have maintained a friendly relationship post their breakup, discreetly left the event to have a chat in the smoking area before departing without attending the official afterparty for the NTAs this year.
This marks the second recent encounter between Sam and Samie, following their previous meeting at a brand launch event in July. Reports suggest that the exes were seen conversing while waiting for drinks at the event, where Sam’s former co-star Lucy Watson was also present. Observers noted that the two kept gravitating towards each other throughout the evening.
In June, it was reported that Sam and Samie had ended their two-month relationship. Their brief romance began after Sam’s split from Zara McDermott, another Love Island alum, the previous year.
A source confirmed the breakup between Sam and Samie three months ago, citing their busy schedules as a contributing factor to the relationship not working out.
