Emily Atack, widely recognized for her portrayal of Charlotte in The Inbetweeners, has established herself as a successful actress, comedian, and a popular television personality. The 35-year-old is currently gracing screens in Channel 5’s new thriller series, The Rumour, alongside actress Rachel Shenton from All Creatures Great and Small.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, Emily’s father, Keith Atack, is a former member of the 70s pop group Child, while her mother, Kate Robbins, is an accomplished actress and singer. Kate, known for her role in the soap Crossroads and chart-topping single “More Than in Love,” has a rich history in television, including appearances in various renowned shows.

Keith, who is also an actor, shares three children with Kate – Emily, Martha, and George. Emily’s mother, Kate, is part of a talented family with three sisters who have made their mark in the industry. Her younger sister, Amy Robbins, is an actress recognized for her work in ITV’s The Royal.

Among Kate’s other sisters, Jane Robbins excels as a sculptor, while Emma Robbins is a singer known for her involvement with The Sheilas, a group featured in a notable advertising campaign. During a podcast appearance with comedian Rob Brydon, Emily shared anecdotes about her relationship with Sir Paul McCartney, emphasizing his warm personality and close ties to their family. She even mentioned that her grandmother was reportedly an inspiration behind The Beatles’ hit single, Lady Madonna.
