“EE Introduces Data Parachute in New SIM Plans”

Date:

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers—running out of data while on the move due to increased file downloads and streaming activities. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” providing users with 1GB of free data when they unexpectedly run out.

According to EE, Data Parachute aims to keep customers connected by offering a temporary data boost for essential tasks like staying in touch with friends, using navigation apps, or accessing online services until they can top up their data allowance.

Starting at ÂŁ10 per month, these new plans offer various benefits such as data rollover, which automatically transfers unused data to the next month, and free data boosts that increase customers’ data allowances. Additionally, EE pay-as-you-go customers have access to the 5G network for improved performance and faster speeds.

The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– ÂŁ10 for 20GB
– ÂŁ15 for 75GB
– ÂŁ20 for 150GB
– ÂŁ30 for 200GB
– ÂŁ35 for Unlimited data

While EE’s Data Parachute feature sets these plans apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for ÂŁ8 per month or Unlimited data for ÂŁ20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for ÂŁ10 per month and 60GB for ÂŁ13.

When choosing a plan, it is advisable to compare different options to ensure you only pay for the data you need, as higher data allowances come with increased costs.
