Danica Moore has been without any contact with her 14-year-old daughter Peyton Flett since June 14. On that night, Flett left with Moore’s mother to stay over at her sisters’ place, as recalled by Moore during an interview. The most recent sighting of Flett was reported in Prince Albert between June 16 and 17, specifically in the vicinity of John Diefenbaker School, as well as at Marquis Road and Central Avenue.
During this time, Flett was seen wearing a gray and red hoodie paired with blue Christmas-themed pajama pants, along with a black fanny pack. Flett, who is Indigenous, stands at approximately five-foot-four, weighs around 115 pounds, and has black/reddish hair with brown eyes.
Expressing her longing for Flett to return home, Moore reiterated a message to her daughter, saying, “If you’re out there, Peyton, and you’re afraid to come home, you can come home. You’re always loved. You’re never in trouble.” Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Flett’s whereabouts or disappearance to come forward, emphasizing the importance of even seemingly minor details that could aid in locating her.
Given the circumstances of Flett’s disappearance, the major crimes unit is actively investigating the case due to her age, the time elapsed, and the nature of the situation, as mentioned by major crimes Insp. Moore has been tirelessly searching for her daughter and reaching out for help through social media. Describing Flett as a gentle individual who enjoys drawing and spending time with her siblings, Moore’s plea is poignant: “Make us whole again, because we miss you.” She hopes for Flett’s safe return before her upcoming 15th birthday on August 19, expressing the family’s longing for her presence and the void felt in her absence.
