A United States congressman has raised concerns suggesting that Jeffrey Epstein may have facilitated the trafficking of more women to meet Andrew Mountbatten Windsor than previously known, including Virginia Giuffre.
Suhas Subramanyam, a Democrat participating in an investigation termed as the ‘Epstein Files’, revealed that survivors of Epstein’s activities had come forward with testimonies implicating Andrew and other influential individuals. Subramanyam, a member of the House Oversight Committee, indicated that there are indications of potential additional victims trafficked to Andrew.
In a recent development, Subramanyam and 15 other Democratic committee members sent a formal letter to Andrew, urging him to testify under oath regarding his knowledge of Epstein’s sex-trafficking network. This action followed allegations that Epstein had introduced Andrew to another woman who had been a victim of sexual abuse by the convicted sex offender.
Andrew’s interactions with the alleged victims are under scrutiny, including an email exchange where Epstein introduced a woman to Andrew for a dinner meeting in London. While the outcome of this meeting remains undisclosed, Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing, settling a civil case with Mrs. Giuffre without admitting liability.
Subramanyam emphasized that the investigation will continue, with a focus on financial records to trace the money trail related to Epstein’s illicit activities. Despite the mounting pressure, Andrew’s willingness to testify voluntarily remains uncertain, with concerns raised about potential legal implications.
The ongoing inquiry has also revealed Epstein’s estate’s cooperation, providing significant documentation related to financial transactions. Subramanyam stressed the importance of following the financial trail to uncover the extent of Epstein’s criminal behavior.
