Amazon’s Fire TV Stick range continues to dominate the streaming market, despite the emergence of new competitors. These popular devices provide an affordable way to upgrade older TVs with access to various apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+. While they offer great value and features, those seeking an enhanced Amazon experience may be intrigued by the latest upgrade.
Amazon has announced a significant enhancement to its Fire OS-powered Omni Mini-LED Series televisions. These premium screens already deliver impressive features such as 4K visuals, Dolby Vision technology, exceptional sound quality, hands-free Alexa access, and a gaming mode. The latest update introduces Interactive Art, an extension of the existing Ambient Experience feature that transforms the TV screen into captivating artwork when not in use.
Interactive Art enhances user experience by offering over 10 interactive scenes that respond to movement within the room using the built-in high-fidelity radar sensor. Scenes include animated elements like butterflies, fish, and colorful tiles, creating an engaging visual experience for viewers.
Existing owners of the Omni Mini-LED Series TV can easily access this feature by selecting the Interactive Art background through Alexa commands. Amazon highlights that Interactive Art complements the vast collection of free, high-quality images available in the Ambient Experience feature on Fire TV.
In addition to Interactive Art, Amazon has introduced Dual Audio functionality to cater to viewers who are hard of hearing. This feature allows users with hearing aids to stream audio directly to their devices while others listen through the TV’s speakers. To enable Dual Audio, customers can navigate to the Accessibility menu in the Settings from the home screen.
Dual Audio is now accessible in all regions where the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series is available with the latest software update. These enhancements aim to make the Fire TV experience more inclusive and enjoyable for a wider range of users.
