“Monzo Introduces Double Payday Feature: Double Your Salary Luck”

Date:

Monzo has introduced an innovative bank feature that offers customers the opportunity to potentially double their salary each month. To qualify for this program called Double Payday, individuals must have their salary deposited into their Monzo account. Every month, Monzo will randomly select ten customers to have their salary doubled, up to a maximum of £10,000. For example, if a customer’s take-home pay is £2,500, Monzo will add an additional £2,500 tax-free.

The doubled payment is based on the net pay credited to the account through BACS transfer. To be eligible for the next month’s draw, customers must receive their salary in their Monzo account by the end of the calendar month. The Double Payday initiative is set to launch on December 8, 2025.

According to Richard Cadman, Senior Product Director at Monzo, the company aims to enhance the customer experience by offering unique features like Double Payday. This initiative allows customers to double their salary monthly, adding an exciting twist during the festive season. Monzo continues to innovate in the industry, providing exclusive benefits only available with their services.

In addition to Double Payday, Monzo recently upgraded its Monzo Flex credit card feature. Monzo Flex now enables customers to split the cost of purchases over time, offering flexibility in payment options. Customers can divide eligible purchases into interest-free monthly installments or choose longer-term payment plans with interest. This enhancement builds on previous improvements that allowed splitting payments for online purchases, extending the feature to in-store transactions as well.
