Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein expressed support for far-right activist Tommy Robinson and shared offensive Holocaust-related jokes in private emails recently disclosed by US lawmakers.
In one email, Epstein praised Robinson’s release from jail in 2018, using the alias “TOMMY ROBINSON. !! good work.” Another email from Epstein referenced Kristallnacht with the chilling statement, “Kristallnacht always has the big fire.” He also made a disturbing comment inviting participation in the elections with a reference to Auschwitz’s opening night.
The released documents shed light on Epstein’s involvement with right-wing movements on both sides of the Atlantic, revealing his extensive network of political contacts worldwide. His emails show interactions with various figures, including American officials, European diplomats, and individuals from Russia to Saudi Arabia, discussing strategies to bolster populist movements in Europe.
Among those Epstein corresponded with was Steve Bannon, the former chief strategist for Donald Trump. Epstein encouraged Bannon to promote conservative movements across Europe and advised on personnel decisions within the Trump administration. When Bannon proposed forming a coalition to support far-right parties in the European Parliament elections, Epstein highlighted the need for significant in-person engagement.
Epstein positioned himself as a global influencer, boasting of interactions with Arab League leaders and claiming to receive insights from powerful figures. He showcased receiving gifts from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and attempted to act as a mediator with the Kremlin, suggesting a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and himself.
As scrutiny mounted in late 2018, Epstein portrayed himself as a target of political attacks aimed at undermining Trump. He suggested that his legal troubles were connected to efforts to discredit the former president. Epstein’s death in 2019, while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, was officially ruled a suicide.
Throughout the revelations, Epstein presented himself as a key player with access to influential circles, seeking to leverage his connections for personal gain and political influence.
