A 28-year-old woman has admitted to castrating her partner out of jealousy. Windi Sintia from Indonesia carried out the vicious attack as a response to her partner’s infidelity with another woman, as per local reports.
Reportedly, during a sexual encounter, the woman used a penknife to sever her partner’s penis, causing him to flee into the street in distress, seeking help. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital where surgeons successfully reattached his genitalia, as reported by Tribunnews.
Sintia, who was apprehended by authorities on October 21, stated, “Our relationship was akin to that of a married couple. However, he persisted in deceit and betrayal, provoking my anger and disappointment.”
She alleged that the man had been unfaithful to both her and his wife with other women, expressing, “I have some remorse for my actions, but mostly feel a sense of fulfillment. I am ultimately content.”
The defense team has asked for a delay in Sintia’s possible imprisonment, citing her responsibility as a mother to an eight-year-old child who needs her care.
