Darts Player Luke Littler Stresses Consent Amid Fan Incident

Date:

Luke Littler expressed his frustration at a fan’s inappropriate behavior when the fan grabbed him while he was taking pictures in Prague ahead of the Czech Open tournament. The 18-year-old darts player is in Prague to compete against Cameron Menzies in the event, which offers a £30,000 prize.

Upon his arrival at the hotel, Littler was greeted by fans eager to meet the darts champion and take photos with him. Despite accommodating some fans initially, Littler was upset when one individual grabbed him as he was about to leave. Littler took to social media to vent his displeasure, emphasizing the importance of asking for permission instead of grabbing someone without consent.

Moreover, Littler addressed another incident where a fan criticized his behavior, prompting him to highlight the fan’s inappropriate action of grabbing him from behind. Littler firmly stated that physical contact without consent was unacceptable, reiterating the need for respect and proper behavior from fans.

These incidents come amidst a challenging period for Littler, who has faced criticism and jeering from fans in previous events. Despite experiencing negativity from fans, Littler remains focused on his upcoming participation in the German Darts Championship in Heidenheim, where he will compete for a prize fund of £175,000 alongside renowned players such as Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, and Stephen Bunting. The competition is scheduled to commence on October 17 and will span three days.
