A woman accused of engaging in sexual activity with an underage male reportedly initiated contact with him through suggestive text messages when he was only 12 years old.
Stephanie Jensen, 41, allegedly confessed to authorities that she began flirting with the victim while working as a teacher’s aide, knowing his age as she taught him in second grade when he was in eighth grade. The victim claimed that he had sexual relations with Jensen before he turned 16, having identified the time frame based on not yet having a driver’s license. Allegedly, they engaged in sexual encounters on multiple occasions from when he was 15 to 17 years old.
The encounters between Jensen and the victim are said to have taken place at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The victim stated that Jensen sent him explicit photos during that period and also allegedly sent similar images to his underage friends.
According to a complaint obtained by a news network, the victim disclosed that Jensen not only shared nude images with him but also sent such content to his acquaintances. Word spread among his social circle, leading others to add her online in hopes of receiving similar content.
Jensen reportedly denied having sexual contact with the teenager when questioned by detectives at her residence. However, she did acknowledge sending explicit photos and videos, as per the complaint.
Upon being informed of her arrest, Jensen allegedly disputed the claim and resisted getting up from the couch. Officers had to physically assist her in standing up and eventually handcuff her after she attempted to pull away.
Jensen has been formally charged with possession of child pornography, multiple counts of child enticement, exposing intimate parts of a child, and second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Faith Lutheran School announced the termination of Jensen’s employment following the filing of charges, emphasizing their commitment to the safety and well-being of their students, staff, and community.
