Kim Kardashian Claps Back at Critics of New Hulu Legal Drama

Date:

Kim Kardashian has responded to critics who have been harshly reviewing her new Hulu legal drama, All’s Fair. The 45-year-old reality star and entrepreneur took to Instagram to share and poke fun at some of the show’s harshest critiques following its recent premiere.

Created by Ryan Murphy, the series also stars renowned actresses Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor. It follows a group of women breaking away from a male-dominated law firm to establish their own practice.

Kim initiated her social media post with a photo of herself in a purple fur-trimmed crop top, then shared an image with Ryan. She later posted a screenshot of a tweet showcasing the show’s 0% Rotten Tomatoes rating, along with a fan’s comment expressing excitement to watch it.

In subsequent posts, Kim shared pictures of herself laughing with Ryan and the rest of the cast, along with another tweet praising the show’s “worst acting” and “predictable storylines,” which she humorously declared her obsession with, calling for 14 seasons.

She also included screenshots of critiques from The Hollywood Reporter and the BBC, as well as a photo of comedian Amy Schumer recreating a memorable moment from a past event. One tweet highlighted in Kim’s post sarcastically questioned the need for a show to be good, emphasizing the legendary actresses’ performances in the series.

Concluding her post with more positive reviews, Kim encouraged viewers to tune in to “the most critically acclaimed show of the year” on Hulu and Disney+.

Glenn Close, her co-star, joined in the fun by sharing a sketch of the cast with a pot labeled “Critic-Bunny Stew,” a playful nod to her iconic role in Fatal Attraction.

Director and executive producer Anthony Hemingway defended the show in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, acknowledging that not everyone may appreciate it but emphasizing the show’s ability to resonate with different audiences.

Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close expressed their enjoyment of working on the show in interviews, with Glenn mentioning the camaraderie on set.

New episodes of All’s Fair are released every Tuesday on Hulu until December 23.
