Tanya Bardsley’s daughter faced fear when stuck on a train during a bomb scare incident in Stockport. The Real Housewives of Cheshire celebrity expressed distress on Instagram, sharing that her daughter and fellow passengers were caught up in the bomb scare.
The 44-year-old mother urgently sought updates as she disclosed that her daughter was confined on the train by authorities. Gabriella, Tanya’s daughter, was ensnared in the transportation turmoil following the bomb scare occurrence on Tuesday night. A bomb squad was summoned to inspect a “suspicious” suitcase discovered on a footbridge close to the train station.
Emergency responders established a 200-meter safety perimeter for investigation purposes. Stockport train station was evacuated, and all train services were halted due to the security concern.
Taking to Instagram, Tanya posted a message: “Does anyone have information about the situation at Stockport train station? My daughter and other passengers are stranded on the train under police supervision… I’m extremely worried.”
Additionally, nearby residences were evacuated, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal units hurried to Greek Street. An eyewitness described the atmosphere as chaotic, with individuals in a state of panic evacuating Stockport bus interchange following police instructions.
Subsequently, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service reported responding to a suspicious item alert at Greek Street in Stockport, where a suitcase was left unattended on a footbridge near the railway station.
Stockport Station’s evacuation was confirmed by an Avanti West Coast representative, advising customers against traveling to the station due to the circumstances.
This incident occurred a few months after Tanya Bardsley’s residence, valued at £2 million, was targeted by masked intruders while her family was asleep in May. Video footage on Instagram displayed Tanya’s spouse, Phil, coordinating with law enforcement alerted by their security system.
In her Instagram post, Tanya warned about the masked individuals and expressed gratitude for a security group. Fortunately, a source revealed that despite the break-in attempt, no harm came to the family.
The Mirror has reached out to Tanya and Cheshire Police for comments. Tanya and Phil are not the sole Real Housewives stars facing such incidents, with former co-star Nicole Sealey experiencing a break-in where armed robbers took valuables from her Cheshire home.
The armed robbers who targeted Nicole’s residence went directly for precious items, including engagement and wedding rings, and Rolex watches. This alarming event occurred after Tanya and Phil shared their decision to feature in their reality show, succumbing to family pressure despite Phil’s initial reluctance.
Tanya, a longstanding member of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, has been part of the show since its inception in 2015, transitioning from a WAG to a reality TV personality.
