A woman at a McDonald’s in Saginaw, Michigan is being pursued by law enforcement for throwing a cup of scalding hot coffee at a manager in a dispute over a refund. The shocking incident, captured on CCTV, shows the customer hurling the coffee while yelling explicit language at the manager. The manager sustained minor burns from the attack and was heard screaming in pain.
Prior to the coffee throwing, the customer accused the manager of dishonesty regarding the refund, repeatedly calling her a liar. Despite the manager’s attempts to explain that the refund was being processed and that the customer had received her coffee for which she was charged, the customer remained agitated, demanding an apology and expressing dissatisfaction with the service duration.
The assailant, who has been identified but not yet apprehended, is now facing potential felony assault charges. Authorities have issued a warrant for her arrest, with the possibility of the charges being reduced depending on the extent of the manager’s injuries. The suspect resides near the McDonald’s location where the incident occurred and fled the scene following the attack.
