Greggs has officially announced the highly anticipated return of its Festive Bake, with eager fans set to indulge very soon. The bakery chain has disclosed that its Christmas menu will be available in stores starting next Thursday, November 6. For those unfamiliar, the Festive Bake features a delectable combination of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, all enveloped in a rich sage and cranberry sauce.
Describing the Festive Bake as an essential part of the holiday season, Greggs emphasizes that Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without this iconic treat. In addition to the Festive Bake, the popular Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) will also be back on shelves nationwide. This vegan option includes Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and a flavorful cranberry and red onion sauce.
Joining the festive lineup is the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, offering a convenient way to enjoy a Christmas dinner on the go with a blend of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy. Also returning is the Hot Festive Flatbread, featuring sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish enclosed in a warm flatbread.
For those with a sweet tooth, Greggs will introduce a range of holiday treats including the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads. To keep customers warm this winter, Greggs is adding festive hot drinks to the menu such as the Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, which can also be served over ice.
In response to rising costs, Greggs has adjusted some prices on its menu items. The two-part breakfast deal now costs £3.15, up from £2.95, while the three-part breakfast deal has increased to £4.15 from £3.95. Additionally, certain baked goods like the empire biscuit have seen a 5p price increase. Earlier this year, the price of the sausage roll was also raised by 5p to £1.30.
