“Dogs’ Rampage in Liverpool: Woman Injured, Pet Killed”

In Liverpool, a woman sustained injuries and a dog was fatally attacked in a distressing bull-dog incident. Witnesses described the woman as being “covered in blood” near St Michael’s Station, where a police helicopter was observed following the attack.

The authorities were notified of the incident at Priory Wood around 8:15 pm on Wednesday, involving a bull-type dog attacking another dog. The dog owner suffered a hand injury trying to save her pet, which unfortunately died at the scene. Prompt police response led to the American Bulldog being taken into custody, initiating a thorough investigation to locate its owner.

Merseyside Police confirmed the report of the dog attack and ongoing efforts to find the dog’s owner. Another incident occurred in Aigburth, where a woman walking her Whippet dog was attacked by an unleashed dog, resulting in severe hand injuries to the owner and the death of her pet. The offending dog, believed to be a bull-type breed, was seized, and investigations are underway to identify the owner.
