A man is facing trial on numerous charges after the discovery of his foster mother’s remains buried on the ranch where they resided together. Cedric Von Ferdinand has been charged with fraud and forgery following the finding of his foster mother, Nadine Jett’s, skeletal remains on their ranch in Jett’s Valley Center, California. Jett, aged 65, had been missing since December 2023.
Von Ferdinand, who was taking care of Jett during her battle with pancreatic cancer, is accused of committing multiple fraudulent acts, including obtaining power of attorney for himself and forging signatures. Despite not being arrested, Von Ferdinand is facing over 40 fraud-related charges, but no charges have been filed against him in connection with Jett’s murder.
Jett’s foster daughters, identical quadruplets, became concerned when their mother disappeared in 2023. Von Ferdinand informed them that she had passed away in Mexico, keeping them estranged from Jett.
