Reality TV personality Katie Price has publicly apologized to actress Emily Atack for sharing what was deemed an offensive message about her in a now-deleted social media post. The apology came amidst their past ‘feud’ which had been ongoing for some time.
Katie, 47, issued the apology on Instagram while on tour with Kerry Katona. The two friends are currently touring together as part of An Evening with Katie and Kerry, with their latest show in Sutton Coldfield.
During the tour, Katie reportedly made a derogatory comment about Emily on social media, which she has since retracted and expressed affection for the comedian in a subsequent post.
According to reports, Katie referenced an offensive joke about Emily dating back to 2019 in the now-deleted post. The post featured a photo of Katie and Kerry, with a censored version of the caption hinting at remarks about Emily being “fishy.”
Following the incident, Katie posted a video on her Instagram Story, clarifying that the controversial post was part of a truth or dare game during one of their live shows. She expressed regret for any offense caused and reiterated her admiration for Emily.
The feud between the two stemmed from an incident in 2019 when Emily allegedly made a controversial joke about Katie on the show Extra Camp. Katie retaliated, threatening to confront Emily and criticizing her publicly.
Despite their past differences, Katie has now publicly apologized to Emily, acknowledging that the recent incident was part of a game and not meant to cause harm. The ongoing tour with Kerry continues as scheduled.
